5 star treatment! Great location as it is on a thoroughfare for taxi drop off as it is just inside the Medina wall (anything in the centre is not accessible by taxi). This Riad has been recently renovated and oozes charm and love. Felt really safe for lone travellers. The included breakfast is fresh and plentiful, with an added surprise of afternoon tea and cakes on the sun drenched terrace if you can tear yourself away from the Souks! The staff are attentive but not intrusive. Michele (the owner) is always on hand to given recommendations or help book trips or restaurants.

The owners Grant and Michelle made our visit. They arranged transportation to and from the airport, hired a driver for a day trip to the Atlas Mountains/Berber villages, and provided maps and tips for other activities. We had a delicious Tapas dinner there one night and breakfast every morning was freshly prepared and phenomenal. Their knowledge and insight about Marrakesh was so helpful. The staff were very friendly and wonderful at their jobs. The Riad was beautiful and gorgeously furnished and included a roof top patio with views and breezes.

Riad Assakina is ideally located within and easy walk to all the major sights. It’s very stylish with beautiful designs, yet also extremely comfortable and exceptionally cared for by the staff. Michelle is a wealth of knowledge and gave terrific advice on where to visit, shop, and dine. Trust her! She made our visit to Marrakech easy and fun! Her staff were superb. The food was very fresh and scrumptious. I researched TONS of Riads and consider myself extremely lucky to have stayed here.

Beautiful riad near all the tourist sights in Marrakech. Just down the street from the Badi palace. Staff is incredible and will go to great lengths to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed. Good noise insulation and full bathrooms in a European style made for a comfortable stay. Good AC. Would highly recommend. Food was excellent - dinner and included breakfasts.

Incredible hospitality by the hosts and full staff. The whole team is clearly devoted to the enjoyment and well-being of their guests—WELL beyond anything you might expect of “concierge” duties. And the space supports that in every way—from the lemon trees drooping with fruit over the courtyard pool to the careful and resplendent design of every aspect of the riad, not to mention the beautifully plated and delicious evening tapas on the terrace and the exceptional breakfast served each morning. The location is fantastic for walking the Mellah district, with easy access to other parts of the Medina. I really don’t like to write reviews but couldn’t wait to write this one. Go! It’s a phenomenal place to come back to.

We loved this place. It was the best place we stayed during our 3 weeks in Morocco. The riad is beautifully decorated and spotless. Our room was large and well furnished with original art and a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom had double sinks and a large shower. We liked the location . . . close enough to the sights, but quiet with easy access to taxis, ATMs, etc. Michelle, the owner, gave us lots of helpful advice before our arrival and during our stay, and she arranged laundry service, dinners and taxis for us. Breakfast had several cooked options available, good coffee and delicious pastries and was served on the rooftop terrace which was lovely. We had a candlelit dinner at the riad one night in the beautiful salon -- perfect.
